‘1000 et une pages’

writing competition

The 2017 AAFBES ‘1000 et une pages’ competition has asked all students from AAEFBS primary schools to create, write, illustrate and tell stories in French. There are 14 classes who have participated in this competition. The competition had two categories, to accommodate all year levels (for P-Year 2, and Year 3-6). The students that participated were tasked with producing their own book; each student in the winning class was given the opportunity to get their story published.

Winners are:

For P-Year 2 level: Tingalpa State School (QLD) with “Mimi la souris”

For Year 3-6: Killarney Heights Public School with “A la recherche de l’harmonie”

Congratulations to all the students and the teachers who have guided them!
